Verse of the Day

2 Samuel 2:9
And made him king over Gilead, and over the Ashurites, and over Jezreel, and over Ephraim, and over Benjamin, and over all Israel.
Reflections On The Scripture: In this passage, we see God's divine hand in the appointment of leadership. It speaks to us about the authority God gives, not just over a small group, but over nations and regions. It's a reminder that no matter where we are leading - be it in our home, workplace or community, our leadership and its influence originate from God. He raises us to positions, and we carry His divine authority to enact righteous change and make decisions which honor Him. But we must remember, the crown of leadership is not for our glory; it's for His. We are but vessels, and He is the King of Kings who reigns supreme over everyone and everything.
