Verse of the Day

2 Samuel 18:19
Then said Ahimaaz the son of Zadok, Let me now run, and bear the king tidings, how that the LORD hath avenged him of his enemies.
Reflections On The Scripture: In the same manner as Ahimaaz wished to bear the good tidings of the Lord's vengeance to the king, we are likewise called upon to carry the good news of our Redeemer's triumph over sin and death to others. This divine mission is not a heavy burden, but a joyous privilege. For it’s through our faithful stewardship in delivering this holy message, we experience a profound connection to God's almighty power, His mercy, His justice, and above all His never-ending love. Every time we share His word, we put on the shoes of those eager to preach the good news of peace and salvation, bravely running toward the opportunity, not away from it, just as Ahimaaz did. Our mission, like his, is eternally about fulfilling God's purpose, sharing His victory and in doing so, growing His kingdom.
