Verse of the Day
2 Samuel 10:10
Reflections On The Scripture: When we struggle against great odds, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and incapable. Yet, in 2 Samuel, we see an amazing example of trust and delegation. Just as Abishai was tasked to rally his forces against the children of Ammon, we too are called upon to mobilize our faith against the trials of life. Let's remember that we are not facing the battle alone. Our Heavenly Father is orchestrating everything, including the support and resources we need. Just as the Israelites didn't battle alone, we also have brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us. When we trust in God's wisdom and perspective, He can lead us to victory, even as we face seemingly insurmountable odds. Never forget, we are never alone in the battle, our God is with us and He is our strength and our shield.
