Verse of the Day

2 Kings 5:22
And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse from 2 Kings emphasizes the remarkable faith Gehazi had in his master Elisha and in God. It prompts us to reflect on the spirit of servitude, faithfulness, and absolute confidence in God's provisions. Like Gehazi, we should trust in God's wisdom which surpasses our understanding. Oftentimes, we may experience situations in our life that we don't fully understand; we may question why God has sent certain people or challenges our way. But take inspiration from Gehazi who remained obedient without any doubts. He accepted and acted on Elisha's request even when it may have seemed perplexing. This is a calling for us to have resolute faith in God, to wholeheartedly surrender our plans and desires to Him, and to be obedient to His commands.
