Verse of the Day

2 Kings 2:18
And when they came again to him, (for he tarried at Jericho,) he said unto them, Did I not say unto you, Go not?
Reflections On The Scripture: Sometimes God's plans for us may seem strange and challenging. In the book of 2 Kings, Elisha asks his followers to not follow him to Jericho, yet they do. Elisha's perseverance in the face of skepticism and ridicule reflects our own journey toward trust in God's plan. When God lays a path before us, we must trust in His guidance, even when the path seems challenging or the destination uncertain. We must remember that God's wisdom is far greater than ours. We may not always understand His commands just as the people with Elisha did not understand his, but we should go to Him and seek his guidance, for He truly knows what's best for us.
