Verse of the Day

2 Chronicles 15:6
And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse reunites us with a poignant message that nations and cities often fall into ruin due to their own internal conflict and discord. Such chaos is often a result from straying from the path of righteousness and allowing adversity to breed discontent and strife. However, this adversity should be appealed in a light of God's call to return to Him. When our lives and world seem to be in turmoil, it is then we must seek solace in the divine presence, asking for guidance and courage to overcome hardships. It’s a fundamental belief, that even if God allows vexing adversity, He also provides a way to triumph over it in hopes to draw us closer to Him. When we embrace this truth, we view our trials not as punishments, but as opportunities to grow and strengthen our faith.
