Verse of the Day
1 Samuel 8:7
Reflections On The Scripture: In this verse, the Lord speaks to Samuel, reminding him that when people reject His laws and His ways, they are not rejecting Samuel or the leaders He has put in their path, but rejecting God himself. Like Samuel, we must remember not to take others' rejection personally. When we carry God's message to others, any denial or resistance isn't against us, but against God. It's a profound coaching for us not to feel disheartened, for God knows the heart of every individual, and it's ultimately His role to soften and convert hearts. Even in rejection, we are invited to be steadfast, continuing our mission of carrying and spreading God's word, trusting that He alone reigns over all hearts.
