Verse of the Day

1 Kings 10:13
And king Solomon gave unto the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants.
Reflections On The Scripture: This Scripture verse from 1 Kings teaches us the grandness of generosity that King Solomon displayed towards the queen of Sheba. It embodies the principle of divine abundance and unrestricted giving. We are, in a way, King Solomon, blessed with countless resources from God's royal bounty - love, goodness, patience, and mercy. And God expects us to give to others, not just what we can spare, but in abundance. As we give generously, we mirror our Divine King's bounty. It’s not a matter of how much we have, but how much love and generosity is in our giving. We need to extend our hearts to those in need, offering aid without anticipating anything in return. Just as the Queen of Sheba returned to her country with more than what she desired, may those to whom we extend our generosity feel the richness of God's love for them within us.
