Verse of the Day
Revelation 13:4
Reflections On The Scripture: In our lives, too often we are misguided and look upon the wrong things, misguided by the illusion of power and strength. This verse from Revelation speaks to that human flaw. It warns us about the seduction of worldly power, represented by the dragon and the beast. Through it all, it's crucial to remember that true power comes from God, not worldly beings. The awe and reverence that these entities command are fleeting. In essence, the verse serves as a wake-up call, urging us not to be lured by the false promise of worldly power, but instead to look up to the true source of power and strength - our Lord. The world may seem powerful and invincible like the beast, yet in the end, it is God who reigns supreme. So let us focus our faith and worship on He who is truly worthy of it.
