Verse of the Day
Numbers 35:21
Reflections On The Scripture: This passage reminds us of the sacredness of life and the consequences of actions driven by enmity and anger. But as we live under the new covenant, we no longer need to seek revenge ourselves, but leave it to God who is the ultimate judge. We are called to live in love and reconciliation, not in retaliation. So, when confronted with hurt, we must not respond with malice, but with love and understanding. Bear in mind, it is not our place to lay the sentence, but to extend the hand of forgiveness that was first extended to us.
