Verse of the Day

Nehemia 4:14
And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the LORD, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse from Nehemiah is a powerful reminder of the courage that our faith in the Lord can instill within us. The journey of life is full of challenges and trials that may, at times, seem insurmountable. Yet, by entrusting our fears and worries to the Lord who is mighty beyond comprehension, we are supernaturally imbued with the strength and persistence to persevere. The great reminder here is not just the fact that we fight, but for whom we fight - our brethren, our sons, our daughters, our wives, and our homes. We are called to protect, nurture, and build with a brave heart - not to pull back in fear. Keep in mind, He doesn't just stand by us in our battles but leads the charge, for the fight is not just ours but God's.
