Verse of the Day
Matthew 13:48
Reflections On The Scripture: Just as the fishermen in this verse drew in their nets and sorted the good from the bad, so too are we called to discernment in our own lives. Our "nets" are full of experiences, influences, and choices. We have the responsibility to distinguish right from wrong, truth from falsehood, and to take the good into our hearts while casting the bad away. This is a daily task, one that requires us to lean on divine wisdom and strength. And just like the fishermen who brought their full nets to the shore, we do not undertake this task alone. With God’s help, we can make choices that reflect His will and fill our "vessels" with what is good and true.
