Verse of the Day
Luke 13:7
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse serves as a reminder that, in God's vineyard, we are all like trees planted and expected to bear fruits. The Lord is patient, He waits and gives us ample time to grow, to mature, to yield fruits of love, kindness, humility, joy, forgiveness, and more. However, if we continue to remain barren, consuming the resources but not contributing, the Lord may question whether we are fulfilling our purpose. The fig tree was given three years to bear fruit, yet it failed. Let's not be like the fruitless fig tree. Instead, let's focus on growth and fruitful living that reflects the glory of God. We must strive daily to bear the fruits of the Spirit, offering them as a testament to our life in Christ. Let us enrich the world around us and not just consume it. As we do this, we fulfill Kingdom's purpose and become the thriving trees of God's vineyard.
