Verse of the Day

Judges 11:29
Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jephthah, and he passed over Gilead, and Manasseh, and passed over Mizpeh of Gilead, and from Mizpeh of Gilead he passed over unto the children of Ammon.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse demonstrates the power of God's spirit moving within us, guiding us to action. When the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jephthah, he was propelled into significant movements and accomplishments. The same can be true for us. When we yield to the Holy Spirit, the path we must take in life becomes clearer. We can move through and past our struggles, dilemmas, and sorrow. When we surrender to God's will, we are guided to overcome our adversities, just like Jephthah passed over Gilead and Manasseh. God's spirit doesn't just lead us to the battle, it supports us, strengthens us, and makes us more than conquerors. So, let us open ourselves to the workings of His Spirit, and watch as we rise high over our challenges and advance further in our calling. Let not the mountains of despair discourage you, for with the Spirit of the Lord, you have the ultimate support to pass over them.
