Verse of the Day
Jude 1:9
Reflections On The Scripture: In this verse, we observe characteristically how Michael the Archangel, a spiritual entity of such high esteem, chooses not to engage in a verbal altercation with satan, but rather entrusts the matter to God Himself. This, my friends, is the perfect depiction of the power of humility even when standing against opposition. This is a lesson for us in how we should conduct ourselves in times of disputes or controversies. Instead of retaliating and stooping down to the level of our detractors, we ought to follow Michael's example, stepping back and seeking God's intervention. Remember, it's through surrendering our battles to the Lord that we demonstrate our trust in Him. So, the next time you find yourself on the brink of argument, remember to quietly utter, 'The Lord rebuke thee', and let God take control of the situation.
