Reflections On The Scripture: Sometimes the journey we are on seems longer than anticipated, and we feel like we have rowed for an eternity but still seem far from our destination. Because, similar to the disciples in this scripture, our journey is meant to stretch us and compel us to depend on our faith. When Jesus approached, walking on the sea, the disciples became frightened. Aren't we also afraid when we don't fully understand how Jesus is working in our lives? But remember, even when your journey is hard, and God appears in ways you didn't expect, do not be consumed by fear. He is there, he has always been there, ready to bring peace to our storm-ridden lives.
