Verse of the Day

Isaiah 64:5
Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
Reflections On The Scripture: Life has its mountain peaks and low valleys, moments of joy and seasons of torment. This verse from Isaiah reminds us how God meets us in our moments of rejoicing and in our dedication to righteousness - to doing things that align with His heart. Yet, the stark reality is, we fall, we sin, and sometimes we find ourselves at odds with God's righteousness. However, this verse also provides hope and redemption. In God's ways, there is continuity - his love never ceases, his mercy never runs dry; even when we falter, He is faithful. He is our everlasting anchor in the tumultuous sea of life. Despite our shortcomings, the promise of salvation holds steadfast. We can rest in the assurance that His unchanging love and grace will save us.
