Reflections On The Scripture: What a magnificent call for unity we find in Ezra 10:7! Just as the proclamation was made throughout Judah and Jerusalem for all the children of the captivity to gather themselves together unto Jerusalem, we too are called to assemble in unity in the midst of our own personal captivities. Whether our chains have been forged by past regret, present struggle, or fear of the future, we are urged to come together in our places of worship, joining our hearts in communal prayer and praise. It's in this very unity, this coming together, that we find strength to break free from our individual shackles.
