Verse of the Day

Ezekiel 39:2
And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
Reflections On The Scripture: The Lord in His infinite wisdom and power chooses to allow us only a fraction of some experiences, patterns, or seasons in life just as He allowed only a sixth part in Ezeikel 39:2. This is His mercy in action, for the full magnitude of some trials may be too overwhelming for us. Yet, notice that God activates a change in direction—He turns us and elevates us, guiding us toward a higher plane. He brings us upon the mountains of Israel, a place of victory and revelation of His glory. Regardless of where we are coming from, including the 'north parts' which often symbolizes hardship or difficulty, His plan is to lead us to a higher, better place. Lean into His plan today, trust that when He reduces, it is to prepare us for increase in another area - up on the mountains of life, where we are closer to God and can indeed experience His divine glory and victory.
