Verse of the Day

Ecclesiastes 6:10
That which hath been is named already, and it is known that it is man: neither may he contend with him that is mightier than he.
Reflections On The Scripture: We are all known and seen by our Heavenly Father who has esteemed us important to adorn us with the title of 'man'. We are recognized and named already, even before we enter the world. Yet, we are also reminded that we cannot stand in argument with One who is far more powerful than we are. This verse urges us to accept our limitations as humans, be humble, and surrender our might to the One who is mightier, our creator. When we yield to God's divine sovereignty, we realize that our strength lies not in contending with Him, but in placing our absolute trust and dependence in Him. Then we feel at peace, acknowledging that we are cherished by God, but should never try to compete with His might.
