In times when we feel our strength is depleted, when we see no escape or relief, that is when He steps in. The Lord sees our struggles, the battles we fight—inwardly and outwardly— He cares and He steps in, not because of our deserving but because of His mercy. His justice is not based on the world's scale but on His compassionate heart. Even when we are devoid of everything, His grace is our refuge. We can take heart in knowing there is no situation beyond the redeeming reach of our God. He intervenes, repents for us so that we may find peace and renewal in His presence.
