Verse of the Day
Acts 10:5
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse reminds us about the divine guidance and the greater plan that God always has for us. Like Simon, whose surname is Peter, we are all uniquely called by God to fulfill purposes that are beyond our understanding. The call to Joppa might seem sudden, unanticipated, yet was an essential part of God’s divine plan. In the same spirit, we might experience such calls in our lives, which might appear as sudden change or redirection. We must remember to accept them with faith, surrender, and a humble heart, knowing that God’s plan is far more all-encompassing and profound than our human comprehension allows. He calls us all individually and knows us intimately by our names, our own 'Joppa' exists, and when called, we must be ready to respond.
