Verse of the Day

2 Samuel 7:21
For thy word\'s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them.
Reflections On The Scripture: Our heavenly Father never ceases to overwhelm us with His boundless love and His miraculous works for the sake of His word and in tune with His divine heart. In 2 Samuel 7:21, David is not simply praising God for his kindness, he is recognizing that the extraordinary things God has done are the direct manifestations of His perfect and loving heart. As His beloved children, our Lord does all these phenomenal things, not to spotlight His own power, but to make us, His servants, aware of them. This divinely inspired knowledge isn't a mere familiarity with the acts of God, but a profound understanding of His character. It is a powerful reminder that God works on our behalf out of His abundant love and faithfulness, not because we are deserving. We should maintain a humble and grateful heart, and be always conscious of God's actions in our lives, knowing they are to show us His magnificent character and unfailing love.
